'Iron' distance Workshops 2

If you’ve entered an Iron Distance Race in 2016 and want to know how best to train for it then read on...

Manchester Triathlon Club Paul Savage has raced over the Iron Distance and coached many athletes of all abilities.

Paul will be delivering a series of three talks and the second talk on Friday 1st April will focus on what specific iron-distance training sessions you should be doing.

Paul will discuss the key components of training for an Iron Distance race and show you how to build your aerobic endurance and strength to build over the spring to be in the right place to peak for races later in the year (i.e. summer) through a consistent and structured training plan

He will give example training sessions and answer all yof our questions
