- Attempted English Channel 1994, 95, 96 ( came within 3 miles, 300 metres ! and 3.5 miles respectively )
- First male - 1996 Manhattan Island Marathon Race ( 28.5 miles )
- Seventh - World Masters 5 km Open Water Event, Holme Pierrepoint
- Team Manager swimmer - 1996 Worlds first 2-Way Loch Ness ( 53 miles )
