Four MTC Top 15 Finishers In National Rankings 2006

Congratulations to Vicki Wade, Phil Stannard, John Murray and Paul Schofield who all finished in the Top 15 of the Age Group National Rankings.

The scoring system in 2006 worked as follows; every BTA competitor received points according to their time and finishing place at the following Olympic triathlon races:

• Shropshire
• Chester
• Wakefield
• Milton Keynes
• Bala

Each competitor gets a total score from their best 3 events.

Vicki placed 2nd in the Women's G category, Phil 13th in the Men's E category, John 8th and Paul 9th in the G category. Great performance from Paul in his first season in triathlon and the other 3, all relative newcomers to the sport.

Lets aim for more MTC placings in 2007; the following are BTA National Ranking events:

• Shropshire - June 10th
• Wakefield - July 8th
• Worthing - July 22nd
• Blithfield - August 26th
• Bala - September 15th
