Sat 24th March - Swimathon

Postby Rob Harvey » Tue Mar 13, 2007 12:48 am

The Saturday AM swim on 24th March will be used to give club members the chance to take part in Swimathon 2007. For the past few years Dave Q has encouraged members to raise money for Marie Curie or the Swimathon Foundation by completing a 5k / 2.5k / 1.5k swim. For more info on how it all works have a read of:

http://www.swimathon.org

If you don't want to register on line and raise money then thats fine just turn up and take part in the session as it will be a good endurance set!

thanks

Rob

How many people are in each lane while swimming??
Record the sound of your washing machine onto a tape, then confuse
neighbours by playing it back on a battery operated cassette player
during a powercut.
