What's the definition of 'Novice' in terms of the Club Awards relating to this event and it's re-run (NW Sprint) in September?

Also is the 'biggest improvement in performance' based on time or positions?

AFAIK novice = first year of doing tri, and improvement would probably be judged on time.

A couple of run splits in the top 20 mens race look very dodgy 12.23 and 14.40ish, so results may change yet.

I'll be doing nw series as soon as results are confirmed, but provisionally in the men's series we have the top 5 now. Didn't do the women's yet as I realised there are a lot of duplicates etc in the results.

Yeah if you scroll down to the bottom of the spreadsheet they have DQs listed and the people in 7th, 8th and 14th are DQ for short run.

I put down MTC on my entry, but it was missed out on the results sheet, I came in 58th F E 9.30 47.37 24.49

Everytime I enter I tell them that I'm an MTC member, never mind my results were:

Swim 10.41 Bike 42.17 Run 24.11 Total 1.17.09

I took part and I enjoyed every minute, for me that's all that matters.
