Thanks for the interest folks.

Will talk to the boss about sunday re Lee Quarry. Need to fix a bike first though. And get a sitter for the small person. If that does not happen the I will get something sorted for midweek.

I have loads of Ideas for rides, day or night.

Just what I need, an excuse to buy a shiny new mountain bike. :D
Any recommendations on a light hard tail for around £500 that I could maybe use for adventure races....?

Mark,
Have a look on Wiggle at the Focus Fat Boy and Killer Bee, both have a pretty good spec and get good reviews.
Commencal might be worth checking out, some of their bikes have good reviews.

Let me know when you get one - I can show you how good at falling off I am! :D

I would be well up for this now as a trip to Evans during the sale has resulted in me accidentally buying a new mountain bike... whooops :!:

I need to go for a 2 hr bike ride on Monday evening... it might as well be on a MTB.
Somewhere not too far away like Macc Forest or Delamere....or even just Lee Quarry.
Anyone fancy it?
